The President’s Fund supports opportunities that enrich the quality of life in our community by providing grants and sponsorships to a wide variety of programs and initiatives. Through this fund, the Ottumwa Legacy Foundation invests in projects that bring people together, foster community pride, and create meaningful experiences for residents of all ages.
Support from the President’s Fund may benefit community events and festivals, arts and cultural programming, recreational and athletic activities, educational opportunities, and other initiatives that contribute to a vibrant and thriving community. By strategically investing in these efforts, the Foundation helps create lasting impacts that enhance the places where we live, learn, work, and play.

Eligibility Requirements for Applying Organizations
Applicants are required to submit a brief narrative explaining the use of sponsorship funds and how the project will impact the Greater Ottumwa Community.
Timeline Process
- Review of applying organizations will occur on a bi-weekly to monthly basis, pending application volume.
- Notifications may take up to (14) days after review cycle.
- Awards will be mailed to the designated address once processed.
