New Grant Dollars Available From Legacy Foundation

The Legacy Foundation has three grant opportunities for local non-profit organizations opening in September.

The newly developed Nonprofit Pandemic Support Fund was created by the Foundation to assist in filling the gap of lost revenue experienced by our local nonprofit community caused by the pandemic. Awards are based on the organization’s operational budget, ranging from $3,000 to $10,000.

The Legacy Youth Alliance is accepting applications September 1st through October 31st, 2021. Youth Alliance grants award up to $2,5000 to youth-led projects and youth-serving organizations twice per year.

The Bright ideas Community Enrichment Fund will accept grant applications for its 31st cycle from September 15th through October 15th, 2021. Bright Ideas grants are competitive, single-year awards that range from $2,500 to $30,000, with priority given to programs and projects that will positively impact area residents.

Applications are open to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating and/or providing services in Wapello County. All application materials are available under the For Grantees & Scholars tab at www.ottumwalegacy.org.
