Meet Board Member: Mark Clark

Mark Clark, one of the members of the Legacy Foundation board, is committed to improving Wapello County and being a dedicated volunteer board member. As the Senior Pastor at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, where he has served since 2009, Clark brings unique perspectives to projects in the area.

“As a newer member of the Legacy Foundation board, I am thrilled to be part of an organization that has made such a positive impact in Ottumwa and Wapello County,” said Clark. “It is meaningful to me to be part of a group that is leaving a legacy and making a difference in the world.”

Clark has a strong history of volunteering and helping those in need, including volunteering at nursing homes and hospice facilities, supporting children with cancer through Make-A-Wish, and leading high school students on service trips. His faith is also a key passion for him, and he values the time he gets to spend with his wife and two boys, having many memorable experiences together.

“One of the highlights of being on the Legacy Foundation board is the opportunity to work alongside such knowledgeable and dedicated individuals,” said Clark. “I am also fascinated by the process of watching a community grow and develop in various ways.”

“We are thrilled to have Mark Clark on the Legacy Foundation board. His passion for helping those in need, his dedication to his faith, and his commitment to learning and growth makes him valuable addition to our the Legacy Foundation Board of Directors,” said Kelly Genners, CEO of the Legacy Foundation.
