We are pleased to announce the award of a total of $17,975 to three recipients of Robert F. McCune Endowment. The McCune Endowment Fund is a restricted endowment where the investment income is dispersed to assist cancer patients, facilities and programs in the City of Ottumwa and Wapello County.
The recipients are listed below:
- Ottumwa High School Advanced Anatomy & Physiology Class to develop and execute a cancer awareness campaign in the community. The project will encompass a multi-week study dealing with cancer.
- YMCA of Ottumwa to continue the Restorative Yoga Pilot Program serving cancer patients.
- National Ovarian Cancer Coalition to support the Spanish Education Initiative, which includes the translation of all the currently offered online resources.
