Cardinal Community Schools Unveils New Classroom

Thank you to Cardinal Community School District for hosting our January board meeting in their new Cardinal Community Schools21st Century Classroom.  This fantastic 1,825 square foot facility offers students many options to interact with the latest technology including 3D printers, MonoPads and videoconferencing capabilities.  The new space is built to be interactive in every way with unique furniture designed to move and connect to meet the needs of each class and each student.

In addition to the classroom, Cardinal School Superintendent Joel Pedersen gave members a tour of other updated areas of the building which include a beautiful new lounge outside of the gym.  This lounge allows users to view activities within the gym on a large video screen.  Visitors also have the opportunity to utilize an interactive monitor which allows them to obtain information about activities, services and even alumni.  Superintendent Pedersen also unveiled a new entry to the school currently under construction,  “We wanted to have a new entry that was worthy of the type of institution we are, when visitors walk through that door they will know that they have arrived at a great school.”

Funding for the classroom was provided by a Legacy grant last year and we are so pleased to see the project come to fruition.  Our congratulations go out to the Cardinal staff and their students!
