2019 Bright Ideas Grant Program Set To Open

The Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation’s Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund was established in 2011 to support charitable intentions of the various 501(c)(3) not for profit organizations that serve to enrich the quality of life for the residents of the City of Ottumwa and Wapello County.

The Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund will distribute up to $150,000 this cycle after reviewing eligible grant applications. Grant amounts are expected to range from $2,500 to $30,000.

The spring grant cycle opens February 1, 2019. Applications must be completed and submitted through our online grant system by 5:00 p.m. CST on February 28, 2019 – paper applications are not accepted.  Organizations that are a 501c(3) not for profit and interested in applying for a grant from the Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund should access the online grant application system here.   Before starting the online application process, applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements, funding priorities and grant checklist, which will provide assistance in completing the online process.
